Another Suicide Bomber Attack In Afghanistan
A suicide bomber in northern Afghanistan on Tuesday detonated his vest killing atleast 20 people and leaving many injured.
The Islamic State is said to have taken the responsibility of the attack. "The attack took place as village elders met with Taliban officials. Of 20 people, 15 people were the local village elders and five were Taliban, including one Taliban commander," Abdul Qauom Baqizoi, provincial chief police of the northern Sar-e Pul Province said.
The Taliban and Islamic State group have been indulging in bitter fight from time to time in Northern Afghanistan which has almost left 100 people dead from both the sides."Explosion occurred in a mosque as a funeral was taking place," Mohammad Noor Rahman, provincial chief council said.
