138 Pakistan soldiers were killed by Indian army in the tactical operation in 2017
Government intelligent sources have said that 138 Pakistan army personnel were killed by the army in 2017 in tactical operations and retaliatory cross-border firings along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. On the other hand the Indian Army lost its 28 soldiers during the same period and 70 soldiers got injured. Pakistan army doesn’t considers the death of its soldiers and produces them as a civilian casualties in certain case.
From the last one year, Indian Army has adopted a tough approach with terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir. Sources also said that, 138 fatal and 155 non-fatal casualties was suffered by the Pakistan Army in tactical operations and retaliatory cross-border firings along the LoC.
Official figures say “860 incidents of ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops were reported in 2017 as against 221 last year”. 27 soldiers of Pakistan Army was killed in sniper firing last year and 7 of its soldiers lost their lives in Pakistani sniper firing along the LoC.
“As part of its policy of “hot pursuit”, the Indian Army has been carrying out tactical operations to foil Pakistan Army’s support to terrorists”.
