Hizbul Module Being Operated,Says Official
On Monday, a senior officer exclaimed that the police cracked a module of Hizbul Mujahideen who is behind the supply and purchase of arms and ammunition to terror outfits in Jammu and Kashmir. He added that a group of people who were aiding the outfit for the supply of the same were found working on a module in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday night. A strict search and checkpoint at Ravi Bridge near the animal husbandary hospital and a truck no JK-2321 was prevented from supplying arms. The investigation resulted in capturing of Rs.7, 10,000 which was possessed by the terror outfit and ended in arrest of two residents of Pulwama’s district Awantipora. Registration of cases under Section 13 in the Unlawful Activities (Prevention Act) Section 120B /RPC (criminal conspiracy to commit an offence punishable with death), 7/27 Arms Act at Lakhanpur police station and inspection was planned. The officer also added that many arrests are yet to be done.
