The Year 2018 Had Seen Huge Amount Of Ceasefire Violations.
While the Pakistan troop was persistent in the process of ceasefire, an Army Porter was grievously injured. This happened on the fourth day of the process when the Pakistan troop pursued their ceasefire along the LOC in Rajouriand Poonchdistricts in Jammu and Kashmirstimulating the Indian Army to fight back against them. The officials said that the Army Porter has been hospitalized.
The Indian Army fought back vehemently which resulted in the reciprocity of firing on both the sides.The officials said that the year 2018 has only seen the huge amount of ceasefire violations that is about 2936 in the last 15 years by Pakistan in the Indo-Pakisthan border. The bombarding and firing by the Pakistani troops over eight out of ten days has created a trauma and fear psychosis among the border dwellers.
An Army major and a BSF jawan in the Tarkundi forward area of the Balakote sector was injured on Thursday when Pakistan troop initiated the firing in two sectors of Rajouri and Poonch. On the previous day, the troop bombarded the Kalal forward area in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district and small arms and heavy caliber weapons were utilized in the Poonch sector.
The officials exclaimed that in spite of frequent calls for restraint and maintenance of peace and tranquility at the Indo-Pak flag meetings, Pakistan is very keen to violate the regulations. The security situation was assessed on Monday by the General officer commander-in-chief, Northern Command, Lt Gen Ranbir Singh at the forward areas along the LoC of Jammu and Rajouri districts.
The officials said that White Knight Corps commander Lt. Gen Parmajit Singh associated with the Lt Gen. Singh also made a visit to the Rajouri and Akhnoor sectors to look after the operational preparedness and the current security situation.
