3 Terrorists Killed In Encounter By J&K Police Force.
Three terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Tral town of Pulwama district on Sunday.
Police have recovered AK- 47 rifles and a pistol from the stop. A gun fight broke out after the forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area acting on a tip-off on the pressure of terrorists.
On March 7, one terrorist was killed in Handwara in an encounter. The state police said that the terrorist was a Pakistani national and was affiliated with jaish-e-Mohammed.
Police have told the press that Mudasir Ahmed Khan alias ‘Mohd Bhai’ was among the three terrorist killed. He is suspected to be the key planner of the Pulwama terror attack on February 14.
Mudasir was suspected to have arranged the vehicles and explosives usedin the February 14 bombing. The 23 year old terrorist was an electrician with a graduate degree and a resident of Pulwama. He was recruited by Noor Mohammed Tantrey alias, Noor Trali, who is believed to have played a key role in the terro group’s revival in the Kashmir valley.
He is also believed to be involved in the terror strike at the army camp in Sunjawan in February 2018, in which six personnel and a civilian was killed.
In response to the Pulwama attack, Indian army increased the anti-terror operation in Kashmir and said that it eliminated the Jaish leadership in the valley within 100 hours of the attack.
