India’s’ Participation In International Efforts To Counter Terrorism Finance, Welcomed By US.
India has called on the UN Security Council to ensure the implementation of counter terror sanctions. A day after US moved UNSC to ban Mansood Azhar, India and US emphasize the urgent need for Pakistan to take meaningful, irreversible and verifiable action against terrorist and terrorist groups. The United States welcome India’s participation in international efforts to counter terrorism finance and the two sites also shared information about their priorities and procedure for pursuing sanctions designations against terrorist group and individuals. Both sites also decided to strengthen their efforts to address some of world’s pressing counter terrorism challenges which includes countering the financing an operation of terrorist organizations, terrorist use of internet, and prosecuting, rehabilitating, reintegrating returning foreign terrorist fighters.
